Evaluation of my Academic Year

This an academic year has been very difficult, full of emotions and new experiences, in special heavy responsibilities. This is my last year academic, because next year carried out my professional practice and my thesis. In this essay talk about myself good and bad that I spent in my student life, place where I spend the most time of the day, also talk about my personal life; my unforgettable experiences as my birthday celebration in a university, and experiences sad as the illness of my aunt. To conclude this essay I will talk about his activities in my free time at university and beyond.

As for my life as a student I can tell, this year has been very difficult because in addition to the classes for my curriculum, I do my seminary degree, which I'm doing with three friends. Our seminar topic is about the meanings that pre-school teachers give their teaching practices and their relationship to the quality of nursery education. We have spent much time in their implementation because it's worth doing a good job. What I've been good this year, has been successfully pass all classes, even those who I do not like, have significant teachers in my life. And the bad things, take classes that have been a waste of time, and losing classes because of student demonstrations.

My personal life this year had many good experiences, including the celebration of my birthday, as my friends from university, I prepared a surprise party and invited my boyfriend was more beautiful day of my life. Another good moment in my life was when I change home because we went to live together with my boyfriend. Among the bad things that have happened this year, I can tell you about my boyfriend's mother, and unfortunately suffers a very serious illness that prevents you from doing all the activities you want, you have good days and very bad. This situation makes me very sad.

Finally, I have to talk about his activities in my spare time, including female soccer play, the first half of this year, do a course in football with my friends from university, this course was very good, because we decided participate in a championship, which we did not win, but no matter, although because of the games we had to miss many classes, especially English. Also participate in celebrations of the university with my boyfriend. I spend many good times moments in university.

I conclude that in this year of my career I've had some difficult moments that have made me to rethink my lifestyle, have more patience and believing in my dreams. Also, I learned to know many different people, and feel that dreams can be fulfilled, but to meet them must give everything you have, and not just what you can.

The current situation of my faculty is not good, because its infrastructure is not built to get as many students, especially in early childhood education career, career I that study. The computer room is spacious and has several computers, but still not enough for all students. The bathrooms are small and poorly equipped, they often break down and take a long time to fix them, besides they smell very bad. The audience for the faculty is very small, not enough to get to all students, when making conferences and seminars, many students must sit on the floor to be present, because not enough chairs for everyone. The casino is very small, and has a very hot area, where nobody wants lunch, lack ventilation and enlarge the space for more tables, and ensuring that all students can have lunch together. The library has few books related to our career, need to bring more books, plus a larger area is very small, you can not do work at home, because besides the charge of the library is always challenging to students because they make too much noise . Missing a large room for group work, where you can talk without interrupting the other students, and a room for practical work, where we can use all kinds of materials. Finally, I would say that's not all bad, because this power has a beautiful courtyard, which allows all students can relax on the grass, after a long day of classes.

To improve conditions in my school, the first to be conducted, it would enlarge the casino and put ventilation, because it's not nice to eat there. If this is improved, everyone could enjoy their lunch. After the computer room would improve, leaving fewer computers per room, because there are many and very little space, they all collide with the chairs and this is very annoying. I would put three rooms of computing, large, so that no shock to anyone. Then widen the classrooms on the first floor because they are very small, and if you had a fire we would all die because no time to escape. The auditorium is built in another place, with room for all students.

There appears to be larger than all the spaces within the university, because not enough for the number of students inside the school, this would make our work more calmly and without discussing with anyone.

Transantiago: before and after

Public transportation in our country today is not good, because the trips are shorter and do not reach everywhere, the city is divided territories, each territory has a color that identifies the town, communities are even more divided than before.

The seats are not made for the size of the Chileans, the seats are very high and when people sit on them is very uncomfortable. Besides the bus have fewer seats than the old buses.

My experience with the old system of transport was also not good, because when he was the former transport system I was a college student, so school had a card with a reduced rate, a situation that bus drivers did not like , treated very badly to students of school buses do not stop when students were waiting at the stops. Despite this, I think people were more passive, not aggressive as they were before the Transantiago. Even when there were people with bags, the person sitting with the bag helped, a situation that does not happen today. What I also remember is that the routes of the buses were longer, were taking a single bus and could go all Santiago, this does not happen now, to visit Santiago I take more than three buses. Now, public transport is modern buses that do not fit into our society both socially and physically.


To improve transportation routes but I would long for those who need to travel far away areas, and for people who need to travel for shorter trips, that these are more rapid and the buses have different departure time shorter, so that people do not have to wait that long the next bus.

My kind music like is rock and pop. I have two favorite band “Los tres” and “Vicentico”. “Los tres” are an old band of the 80`. I like what they say their song, it must be because they identify experien

ces of my life. Vicentico is a more current band, the vocalist of the band belongs to the “Fabulosos Cadillacs” band that is of the same time that “Los tres”.

I've often bought CDs, but lately I like to download music from Internet, because is free and there is more variety of bands and singers. In my house I have old CDs, I like most about "Lucybell: Future Sessions", this CD is a compilation of their best songs.

I´ve been to several concerts of my favorite bands, which I liked best was that of the “Prisioneros”, because it was their reunion was the best concert I´ve. Other bands that have gone to see are: Lucybell, Godwana and Illapu.

As for my musical skills is very poor playing any instrument, the truth is that only play the flute. Not read music, I do not understand, never learned, and the singing and speaking, although I love singing karaoke, but I'm not in tune.

The music in my life is very import, because identifies stages of my life, because according to experience this happening, the music will listen. Today I hear all kinds of music, especially Salsa, because my boyfriend loves that style of music. I've learned to enjoy the sauce, since it is a very energizing music that cheers the soul.

The music that I do not like is rap and reggaeton, because this singer is very aggressive and discriminatory.

To conclude this topic, I think the music is very important in the lives of people, especially the typical music of the countries; this identifies the cultures and societies, and national identity.

The Cinema

I do not like going to the movies, because the sound is very loud and hurt my ears, and I think the seats are very uncomfortable. Despite this, just go to the movies. I think my frequency of going to the movies, is once every four months. This is a money issue as it comes out very expensive to go to the movies.


the last time I went to the movies, was in the summer because the JUNAEB, gift tickets to all young people between 15 and 29. The movie I went to see was "Righteous Kill" is a film directed by Jon Avney and starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. is a very good film, there are two detectives who are in search of a murderer. It's a film worth seeing, because the story is intriguing and interesting, and also work two excellent actors.


He often rented movies, but lately I buy or download from the Internet, is cheaper and I worry not returning movies on time.


My favorite movie is "Big Fish". this is a magical and moving film. Its director is Tim Burton and is based on the novel "Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions" by Dniel Wallace.


The protagonist of this film is Edward Bloom, who was a man who recounts moments of his life adding fantastic features. It is a film that motivates us to dream and believe in magical worlds. This film touches me so much every time I see her. I think I've seen it 4 times.

The part I like about it is when the protagonist arrives in a town where all inhabitants are barefoot, and have their shoes hanging on the edge of town. I think this movie just have good points, I could not tell which scenes or times are bad, because I loved the whole movie.

post 5: WHAT TO DO / WHERE TO GO IN SANTIAGO

I think I know well Santiago, since there are many places that I've never been. I was born in Santiago in the town of Independence, spent my early years there, then we moved to Cerro Navia, and finally to Puente Alto, commune where I spent most of my life.

Puente Alto was a very quiet and full of plots, but as time passed, it was populated by many people today Puente Alto is one of the most populated districts of Santiago.

For tourists who often visit Santiago, I would recommend the following sites:

My favourite TV serial is Medium. The history is based in true story of Allison DuBois, she with his psychic powers to help solve crimes throughout the U.S., and also works as a legal adviser.

This series is a woman whit psychic power named Allison DuBois; she can talk to the dead, predict the future and solve impossible cases. She uses her mind to help police solve the most heinous crimes. Through his dreams he sees the pictures of these crimes and its protagonists. It serial TV is based on a true story. The kind is drama and mystery.

I see this serial because it has a lot of mystery and cases difficult to resolve, besides that fantasy whit reality. The actor has 3 daughters, all also have psychic powers and dream of events that will occur in real life. Her husband is the only one that has no special powers, and must live daily whit the uncertainty that something bad may happen.

This serial is broadcast every Monday for the channel 32 in the SONY and you can see every Monday at 10pm.

I would recommend Medium them to see people who like mystery and difficult to resolve cases as the basis for this series. You be surprised whit the stories of the cases are resolved.

A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

I have always wanted to visit Japan, because this is beautiful country and people is some especial. Everything that this country is for the Japanese animation, my favorite animation is “Ramna ½”, because samples a culture different. I draw much attention. Also by technology, the Japanese created many useful technological products for people.

The reasons for visit a country is architecture, is very mystic and beautiful. Its scenery is full of nature, typical such as cherry trees, lotus flower in special the chrysanthemum, the national flower of Japan. The other reasons is culture, the religious most important is Buddhism; people go to temples sacred to pray and meditate. The people are very calm and relaxed. Each person lives his life, without asking for trouble.

Another thing I like about Japan is the cinema; his films make me very afraid. Do not hold many special effects. Only wear makeup and bodily expressions and gestures, this is enough to make an impact, since it seems a real character.

I'd love to live in Japan, is a country beautiful and mystical, but I could not live. That's all I do not like Japan is a highly populated. What it would do serious study there because the teaching methods they use are very didactic, and centralized hubs of education are students and not the results obtained by children.

First term: good and bad points

In the first term I have had some very interesting subjects, such as building environments, mathematics, language, and some very complicated for me as English and music.

The subjetcs that I liked best was building environments, the teacher taught us to see the child as an active person who decides and thinks from his own interests, we should not prohibit thinking and acting.

other activities carried out was soccer, was an optional subject, we trained and played football with some classmates. I entertained a lot in this elective, disconnected me from all the academic load of the week.

in my free time trying to rest as much as possible, visiting my family and going to parties with my friends. What I most enjoyed in my free time was to go to the movies or go eat with my boyfriend.

As for the challenges that I had that semester, I emphasize the mathematics was a very complicated subjetcs, as I had to learn to do math exercises to test, implement assessments and plan an activity for my practice twice a year. The good thing was that my math teacher was very good, told us all in stride and used many examples to illustrate the years he was teaching us.

And as for my family, this semester she looked so little because I no longer live with me, because I many jobs had to do not have much time to them.
